Another victory in their upcoming match against Finland's KuPS should be enough to seal direct passage to the last 16, particularly after a prior setback against Strasbourg.

This occasion offered a chance for some of Palace's fringe talent to shine. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning since arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a well-taken goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah added a second, finding the net for the second game in match.

The match was effectively over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past a series of comically weak challenges before coolly dispatching a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
After the break, coach Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to withdraw several individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse came close to scoring with his very first touch, but saw his shot blocked.
The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off each posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then missed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still scope for improvement in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a second-half injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This paved the way for 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, capping an otherwise positive evening for the traveling side.
